A tiltrotator creates opportunities for your excavator and allows you to take on new applications while requiring fewer machine movements. We have a wide range of tiltrotators for excavators weighing between 1.5-43 tonnes. From the R1, which combines technology with strength normally only found in higher weight classes, to our largest model, the RC9. Which model is right for you depends on your machine and the tasks you have to carry out. The R series improves your flexibility when you are working with an excavator. The RC™ series takes you even further, by maximising your operating experience and energy efficiency. With the RC™ System control system and the SecureLock™ safety lock, you are creating a strong chain. It starts with you in the cab.

R1

1.4-3.5 tonnes

The Rototilt® R1 is Rototilt’s smallest tiltrotator model, adapted for compact machines weighing between 1.5-3.5 tonnes. Today’s compact machines are becoming more and more advanced, and are rapidly increasing in popularity. The R1 combines smart technology with muscle normally only found in significantly higher weight classes – which means that you get even more out of your machine.

R2

3-6.5 tonnes

The Rototilt® R2 tiltrotator is designed for smaller excavators weighing between 3-6.5 tonnes. The R2 is very powerful for its size class, with a high breakout torque and a large flow capacity for the use of hydraulic tools under the tiltrotator. However, the Rototilt R2 offers many more advantages than that. The tiltrotator’s design is based on the same concept as the larger models with an integrated swivel. As a machine contractor, this means that you benefit from reduced hose routing and increased flow capacity. The tiltrotator’s efficient hydraulics and low weight can also minimise the machine’s fuel consumption.

R3

6-12 tonnes

Meet the Rototilt® R3, specially developed for excavators weighing between 6-12 tonnes and to cope with breakout torques of 85 kNm. The Rototilt® R3 is tailored for compact machines – an increasingly popular segment of the excavator market. In addition to the tiltrotator’s advantages in terms of increased flexibility and the ability to take on more types of assignments, you gain access to even more functions. The design has an integrated swivel with the potential for high-flow and electric swivel, well-integrated central lubrication and load-holding valves on the tilt cylinders. The hydraulic system is adapted for 250 bar to ensure maximum performance. Efficient hydraulics and the tiltrotator’s low weight can also minimise the machine’s fuel consumption. You gain even more benefits when you combine the tiltrotator with our control systems, the QuickChange™ quick coupler system and the SecureLock™ safety solution.

R4

10-16 tonnes

The Rototilt® R4 is designed for excavators weighing between 10-16 tonnes. The R4 is built to cope easily with the harsh environments and significant stresses it will be exposed to in your daily work. Despite its low weight and compact format, the R4 can handle breakout torques of up to 163 kNm. The latest model has a number of benefits for you as a machine operator or machine contractor. These include a worm gear for smoother running and less friction, as well as a rotation sensor in the end section that provides more precise positioning with RPS. In addition, the R4 has a high-pressure seal and smart grease nipples in combination with a stable design with lower radial bearings in bronze.

The Rototilt® R4 also includes Rototilt’s other functions and properties, such as an oil-filled rotor housing cast in a single piece for maximum lubrication, minimal wear and an extremely long service life. 14-19 tonnes

The Rototilt® R5 is the tiltrotator for all excavators weighing between 14-19 tonnes. This model is a real powerhouse for medium-sized excavators, allowing you to take on more and more profitable assignments. Designed to handle breakout torques up to 200 kNm. The latest model has a number of benefits for you as a machine operator or machine contractor. These include a worm gear for smoother running and less friction, as well as a rotation sensor in the end section that provides more precise positioning with RPS. In addition, the R5 has a high-pressure seal and smart grease nipples in combination with a stable design with lower radial bearings in bronze.
The Rototilt® R5 also includes Rototilt’s other functions and properties, such as an oil-filled rotor housing cast in a single piece for maximum lubrication, minimal wear and an extremely long service life. You gain access to even more benefits in combination with our control systems, the QuickChange™ quick coupler system and the SecureLock™ safety solution.

RC5

14-19 tonnes

The RC5 is the tiltrotator for excavators weighing between 14-19 tonnes, and has been designed to cope with breakout torques of up to 200 kNm. The RC5 has 25% higher tilting torque than its predecessor, the R5, a powerhouse for medium-sized excavators that allows you to take on more jobs as well as more profitable jobs. Tiltrotators in the RC series have been designed for your operating experience, energy efficiency and versatility. With pressure-compensated hydraulics, you can use the tiltrotator’s functions independently of each other to deliver optimum precision. In addition, thanks to the RC™ System proportional control system, you can control all the functions in one and the same excavation movement.
With the RC series, Rototilt have also created better conditions for you to work with high-flow functions, and extended your potential to use accessories that place high demands as regards hydraulic flows. With the RC5, you also gain access to Rototilt’s other functions and properties, such as a rotor housing cast in a single piece and oil-filled for maximum lubrication, minimal wear and an extremely long service life. You enjoy even more benefits in combination with the optional RC™ Joysticks and QuickChange™, as well as the SecureLock™ safety lock, which is always included as standard.

15-24 tonnes

The Rototilt® R6 is our third-largest tiltrotator, adapted for excavators weighing between 15-24 tonnes. It is a durable tiltrotator which, just like our other models, is designed to cope with harsh conditions over a prolonged period of use and can handle breakout torques of up to 255 kNm. The latest model has a number of benefits for you as a machine operator or machine contractor. These include a worm gear for smoother running and less friction, as well as a rotation sensor in the end section that provides more precise positioning with RPS. In addition, the R6 has a high-pressure seal and smart grease nipples in combination with a stable design with lower radial bearings in bronze.

The Rototilt® R8 is the perfect tiltrotator for heavier tasks, such as earth-moving and road work, as it can handle breakout torques of up to 330 kNm and is optimised for excavators weighing between 23-32 tonnes. The latest model has a number of benefits for you as a machine operator or machine contractor. These include a worm gear for smoother running and less friction, as well as a rotation sensor in the end section that provides more precise positioning with RPS. In addition, the R8 has a high-pressure seal and smart grease nipples in combination with a stable design with lower radial bearings in bronze. The R8 tiltrotator also provides you with all of Rototilt’s other smart functions and properties, such as an oil-filled rotor housing cast in a single piece for maximum lubrication, minimal wear and an extremely long service life. RC9

32-43 tonnes

The Rototilt® RC9 is the largest tiltrotator, optimised for large excavators weighing between 32-43 tonnes. The RC9 also transforms the large machines into powerful and flexible tool carriers, allowing you to take on even more tasks. This tiltrotator can handle really large hydraulic flows and has an impressive 500 kNm breakout torque. With the newly developed pressure-compensated hydraulics, you can use the tiltrotator’s functions independently of each other to deliver optimum precision.
The RC9 has a powerful worm gear to cope with significant stresses and provide maximum torque, as well as extra hydraulics for a grapple module and other hydraulic tools, for example. In addition, thanks to the RC™ System proportional control system, you can control all the functions in one and the same excavation movement. You also gain access to Rototilt’s other functions and properties, such as a rotor housing cast in a single piece and oil-filled for maximum lubrication, minimal wear and an extremely long service life. When developing RC™ Joysticks, Rototilt have considered your ergonomics and operating experience down to the smallest detail. With the help of modelling, 3D printing and extensive field tests with actual machine operators, Rototilt have kept different hand sizes in mind in the design work. The premium selection of materials has resulted in the handles having an effective grip and an excellent surface quality. And that’s just the beginning. The patented 360° angle adjustment, the optional FNR and the adjustable palm rests ensure that you get through long working days without unnecessary strain on your hands, wrists, arms and shoulders. The angle and position of the buttons and rollers have been carefully calculated to ensure comfortable access when working, without the need to adjust your grip. The handles are tailored to your machine, to provide the optimum operating experience and ergonomics.
